The 2012 Jeep Compass has over thirty safety and security features like passenger, side head, and rear head airbags. The four-wheel antilock brakes and electronic stability control ensure a safe ride under harsh weather conditions. There is also a front passenger seat belt alarm to remind passengers to buckle up when they are not belted in. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Compass a four-star rollover rating and was rated as "no tip" during the dynamic rollover test.
